Blood Donation

Bloodworks NW (formerly the Oregon and Southwest Washington Blood Program) has a long history of serving patients in Southwest Washington.
They have been the exclusive provider of blood to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center since 1995.
Within the last year, Bloodworks NW began supplying all Legacy and Providence hospitals in the Southwest Washington and Portland metro areas.
They supply more than half of all lifesaving blood components for patients and hospitals in the Vancouver/Portland metro region.
They are an independent, volunteer-supported, nonprofit community resource celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2014.
In the years ahead, they will provide 46,000 units of blood to local patients, families, and communities served by our network, but they expect to collect only 11,000 in the area.
Their ability to close this gap depends on community support.
They are asking you to give blood, organize a blood drive (call Yvette Olive at 360-567-4810), or volunteer at one (call Audrey Riggs at 360-567-4809).
Working together, we can help save local lives every day!
You can safely donate blood every 56 days.
Please donate as often as you can.
