Childbirth Education: Preparing for Delivery - Tuesday series

Diapers? Check. Crib? Check. Car seat? Check. Practice bringing baby from belly to home? Let our compassionate and experienced childbirth educators help you check that important task off your Baby To-Do list! Knowing what to expect really can help decrease pain in labor. This valuable class provides the latest information on labor, delivery options, labor support, comfort measures, and relaxation techniques. The class combines lecture, videos, active participation and group discussion to give new parents confidence during this exciting time in their lives. In the 4th class of the 4-week series, parents learn about newborn care, bathing and feeding, and tour PHSJ Birth Center. (See course description for the Infant Care & Feeding class and please register separately). Class registration reserves a spot for mother-to-be and her birth support partner.
Class is open to any community member regardless of where they are delivering.
